Practical Provision
A few weeks ago my family and I were coming home from church. My car began to lose power. It stalled at a stop sign on a country road, out in the middle of no where. We had no cell phone to call anyone. It was very hot outside. As my husband and I began to push the car out of the intersection and onto the side of the road, a man stopped. He got out of his truck and offered to help push the car. As we were pushing the car two kids ran over from a nearby horse farm and said their mom said that we could push the car onto their property so it wouldn't get hit. We pushed the car onto their property and parked it. We thanked the gentleman that had stopped and family that offered to allow us to park the car on their property. The generous family offered to give us a ride back to our house. We got back to our house. I thanked God for the blessings that he had poured upon us in our time of need. Even though the car broke down, we didn't have to walk back to our house, which we were a good 10 miles from where we were in the heat. We got help pushing the car out of the way. We didn't have to leave the car along side the road to possibly get hit. We were blessed that God provided us with generous people. I put it in God's hands for the car to be fixed.

Trying to find a honest reliable auto shop can be somewhat of a challenge, even up where we live. I prayed. I heard there was a gentleman down the street (two houses down from ours to be exact) that fixed cars, not too sure if it was a hobby or an actual business. My husband and I walked down there to speak with the mechanic. He seemed to be a very nice and honest gentleman. I saw a credit card swiping machine and knew that he ran a legit business. My engine had gone kaput and he said he could get the job done within a day. He ordered an engine and we had the car towed to his shop. It was convenient to run down the street to check on how things were coming along. The car was completed and runs great. It also has a one year warranty on the engine.

This is my testimony. I thank God for all the blessings he has poured upon my family and friends.
