Boys and Girls K-6
Wednesday nights, September through May We have fun filled activities for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade. In Royal Rangers and Girls' Club, kids learn new skills and enjoy friends while growing spiritually, mentally, and socially. When: 7-8:30 Wednesdays during school year.
Children's Ministry News
We welcome K-6th Graders to Join us Sunday mornings as we come to "Big City Studio". We are learning about Jesus in a fun way. Take part in the weekly Bible story drama and play "Shout it out" to earn big bucks to spend in the store.
Boys in grades K-6, join the Royal Rangers Wednesdays 7:00 -8:30 p.m.. Have fun, earn merits, go on outing, advance in rank, make new friends and challenge yourself!
Girls in grades K-6, join us for Girls Club on Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 p.m. Come learn about Jesus and how you can be a blessing to others. Make fun crafts and gifts and make new friends. This year we will connect with our missionary friends in Mexico and use our offering to help the children there. We will also do a lot of scrapbooking along with baking and lots of other fun things to do.
It's what's happening in Big City Studio
We started a new curriculum series, "Christian Foundations". Come meet Not Too Bright along with Bully, Sally, Robby, and other puppets.
Get an extra 10 Big City bucks if you are there on time (10:00 AM) another 50 Big City Bucks for bringing your Bible and still another 20 Big City Bucks for returning your completed take home sheet! Then there is another 30 bucks for saying the Memory Verse from the week before. That's 100 Big City Buck to spend at the store!
Remember you can earn additional Big City Bucks by winning the Quiet Seat, answering questions, participating in Praise and Worship and lots more. Your Big City Bucks can be spent in the store.
To top it off we will have our Big Game Show at the end of the 13 weeks where the kids can win big prizes for answering the questions correctly.
That's lots of fun and lots of learning!

MISSION STATEMENT
In serving our church mission statement; we endeavor to bless children and their families for the Glory of God, and to lead them into the knowledge that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord.

Praise and Worship which is relevant to the age and development of the child, and encourages them to express their love for God
Bible and Christ centered teaching which encourages children to grow in their walk with Jesus, and which is relevant to the age and development of the child
Challenging children to share the love of Jesus Christ to their community, and the world through evangelism and missions which relates to their life experience and spiritual awareness
SUNDAY SERVICES: BIG CITY STUDIO
Big City Studios is held every Sunday for K-6th grades during the 10:00 am worship service. Our curriculum is full of well planned impulsive segments that are full of surprises. Humor and "fresh" experience are packed into every Sunday. Each service has interative activities, games and real life Bible applications kids can put to use right away. Kids of all ages hear the word of God and encounter Jesus through high energy praise and worship.
About Big City Studio:
Pick-up: Big City ends right after adult church. Children are released only to an authorized parent or guardian.
Big City Bucks: Your child will receive a “1 City Buck” for attending Sunday School, 5 bucks for remembering their Bible and a chance to earn more bucks answering questions and participating in the events of the morning. If they arrive on time they also receive 10 bucks (wooo!!). These bucks can be used to buy prizes from the Big City store.
Make a Scene: Each week we “produce” a movie scene that allows kids to see, say, and DO the Bible story by acting it out.
Shout it Out/Z Street Live: This is a word game that runs throughout the entire morning. It is much like Wheel-of-Fortune with Hannah Bright.
Knot of the Week: A phrase using the word “NOT”. It helps kids remember an important facet of the lesson.
Impact Skit: Haywood, Joe Nitro, & Bridgette (or one of our other actors) illustrate how to apply today’s lesson.
Reel Time: A phrase using the word “REAL”. (like the Knot of the week)
Playback Game: A review game to help kids recall every aspect of the lesson and have fun doing it (plus get some candy).
ROYAL RANGERS
Royal Rangers is a ministry at Church Upon The Rock to young boys. Their purpose is to shape boys’ lives with godly direction and character while teaching life skills. Each Wednesday Night at 7:00 p.m. during the school year. Boys, from Kindergarten through Grade 6, meet for training, devotion, and lots of fun. Each boy is given the responsibility to work through the various advancements at each level of the program.
GIRLS CLUB
Girls Club is a ministry for all young girls from Kindergarten through Grade 6 at Church Upon The Rock and is held every Wednesday from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm during the school year. This is a fun-filled club for girls to get together, have fun, and grow in the kingdom of God.

VOLUNTEERS
The Childrens Ministries is taking applications for the following volunteer areas: actors, crowd control, helpers to set up and take down the set. References will be checked and a background check will be completed on everyone who applies to work with the children at Church Upon The Rock.
